Our Emerald City Ball Hockey Signature Scrimmage (pre-league style game) continued last weekend with passion, energy and a thirst for more ball hockey. The curiosity and interest is growing across Greater Seattle as we push towards more programming and our first league coming in the 2026–2027 season. And we want you to join our growing community.
We are excited to announce our next Emerald City Ball Hockey Scrimmage Series with two sessions on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 — broken up by age and experience so every player gets the right level of challenge and fun.
“We want to give all boys and girls an opportunity to learn at their own pace and comfort level in a fun and competitive situation, without overwhelming new players versus others who have played for some time. Our goal is to make the game inclusive for everyone and make sure everyone walks away having fun and feeling empowered to want more as we grow toward the next stages of ball hockey here in the Puget Sound and West Coast.”
All ECBH Scrimmage series games are full-goalie with light rules and simulation so parents and players alike know what to expect when we launch our first league later this year. The future Emerald City Ball Hockey League will be broken into age brackets. You are the future — so choose hockey in sneakers on Saturday, June 6th. Register early to secure your spot.
Any additional funds donated beyond the $15 drop-in fee will go toward new goals, goalie gear, expanding marketing efforts and making the overall experience better for the growing Emerald City Ball Hockey family.

Heating up Edmonds with Emerald City Ball Hockey Summer Camps — Registration is live ☀️ 🏒
The next great inclusive youth activity and sport is here and growing. Keep your child moving this Summer and join our growing community with Coach Salvatore and Emerald City Ball Hockey.
Join us for three fun-filled days of ball hockey in Edmonds, at the awesome Frances Anderson Center, June 30 through July 2, designed for boys and girls ages 6–11 of any skill level. And for our full five-day camp August 17th through August 21st for boys and girls ages 6–13.
Whether your child is brand new to the game or already loves hockey, this camp creates a fun, encouraging environment where kids learn new skills, make friends, enjoy nonstop action and are inspired to join us for the 2026–2027 school year and hockey season.
Coach Salvatore focuses on the fundamentals of ball hockey through games, skill stations, and team play, all while building confidence and keeping kids engaged. No prior experience is needed, and all experience levels are welcome. If your child enjoys running, teamwork, and trying something new and exciting in an inclusive setting, this is a great introduction to one of the fastest-growing youth sports.
Demand is growing and spots are limited. Our Summer sessions tend to fill quickly. Give your child a chance to learn the game, stay active, and be part of an unforgettable few days this summer.
Emerald City Ball Hockey Welcomes Chase Lake Elementary
Emerald City Ball Hockey is excited to announce our new school partnership with Chase Lake Elementary School, of the Edmonds School District. Launching a six-week after-school ball hockey enrichment program to students beginning February 2026 with a special thank you to the Seattle Kraken Power Play Program and One Roof Foundation. We are anticipating high participation and we are excited to raise awareness of ball hockey to new students.
